In short, I travel all over the world to impoverished/conflict zones to help relieve phantom limb pain among amputees there through the use of mirror therapy. I’m leaving again for a 3 month mission to Cambodia/Laos on Feb 15. Here is where ALPS comes in: I’m a happy customer. I’ve used your liners for years. It has come to my attention, a heartbreaking number of times, that many, many of the BK amps especially, in Cambodia, have lesions, often septic, caused by both ill-fitting prosthetics and, more importantly by using such things as cheap dirty nylon socks as liners inside their sockets. My proposal, in short, is that you join me in helping alleviate their misery by providing me with all of the silicon liners you can spare (only size small will do it). They can be seconds/rejects, old stock. Anything is better than what these poor people are resorting too. There are many possible upsides that I believe we can explore.
