The gentleman on the right, Sambat, is the sole surgeon at the main hospital in ‘Sam Pov Leung’, Samlout District and, again, one of the most land-mined areas on Earth. Despite his youthful good looks, he’s been working there for over 30 years. The early years would have been some very bad years indeed. He estimates that he has performed, himself, in the neighborhood of 1000 amputation procedures in that time. Go figure; and hats off to Sambat, a very brave soldier in the war against war! You Go! On the left is Heng, from Trauma Care Foundation, who threw us together. Sambat is now a total devotee of Mirror Therapy and will be spreading the word and the works throughout the rest of his long and productive career.

Thank you Heng and Thank you Sambat.
